don't want to fade

I had a initial meeting for a potential job today. I was going for formal but a little casual at the same time since it wasn't a full on formal interview. This is what I wore and came up with...

Twenty Minutes and Sixty Dollars Later... (Work Edition!)

So. I decided that it would be much better if I just went to Sylvia Park and just bought a top, skirt and shoes instead of going home cos I was interning in Grey Lynn and didn't think I'd have enough time to go back home before going to work cos I got called in at 12.30pm.

This is what I ended up with. Not bad for a complete outfit (minus jacket) for $60, don't you think? And I will most probably wear the top in my day-to-day wear as well! Bonus! =) (this is how I pretty much buy all/most of my -black- work wear... as well as meeting work wear standards also has to meet my general would I wear this in my day-to-day life?)

I'm also contemplating/toying with the idea of opening another website where I share tips, advice and just general posts on fashion, beauty, DIY, etc? Good idea? I just feel that I don't want to 'contaminate' my personal blog and this blog with other things... I'd also want to of course possibly open it to readers contributing too. And, that is what I wore today, to work. And pretty much 80% of what I would normally wear to a day of work at the electronics store. And that cost less than $100 and just over $50!

Finally. An outfit. I love my new skirt! It was on sale for around $25, I think at Temt. I also bought a dress that I was meant to wear to my friend's birthday that weekend... but I fell sick with Chicken Pox! D:

Still recovering, "drying up" and also back at work. And back into that social life of mine.... lol, not really. Trying to take it easy and not have so many plans. Oh, so little time in the day! Need more time! I have actually been having some nice, small catch ups with friends. =)
