Had work today but obviously didn't wear this for work. Though, the top half yes, bottom half, no. After work went to see a movie with a friend. The movie was a disappointment.. I don't recommend seeing Young Adults. Afterwards, met up with another friend and had an EPIC catch up at Momo North Shore and a walk along Devonport seaside. Was really nice and pretty <3
First post of the year. Yeah, I know took my time. Hopefully, after this one there will be regular posts! Here's hoping ♥
Top: Valleygirl; Skirt: Jay Jays; Shoes: Hannahs
Just a really casual day at home and doing errands and er, spontaneous shopping.... >_< I think this was predominately my style ages back! I should dig up old photos and compare my style. I think it has definitely changed. I know that I'm more aware of what I want my style to be.
I haven't been wearing dressses due to me being employed!!! I have given up unfortunatey :( maybe next year.... at least I tried 50% of the month..... I think.
Anyways! I bought this new top from Cotton On cos I was desperately needing a white top for work. I forgot to get another one at home before I left! T_____T forgetful is my middle name. I really like the flowiness of it, ever since I modelled this similar loose-fitting top, I wanted one. And now I have one! :D
What do you guys think?
I am also seriously in love with that song right now!
Dress: Pagani; Cardigan: Jay Jays; Shoes: No. 1 Shoe Warehouse
Yesterday went to high tea with three of my good friends and it was amazing. Pictures here at my blog. After high tea, we joined Peter and Daniel at Sylvia Park for a spot of shopping and (one) CV dropping for me :) The day was rounded off with dinner at Tasca with two family friends. It was a lovely end to a lovely chilled day with friends. I love my friends so much.
Not entirely sure why I picked this dress over the other dresses that were in the "available to wear" pile... but pretty much coordinated my entire outfit to the colour green!
I actually once did unintentionally! I have a green dress, shoes, bracelet and if only I had a green headband on... which I may have but I don't remember. Definitely a St. Partrick's Day outfit... if only it were St Paddy's Day that day. And today..
Dress: Pagani; Shoes: No. 1 Shoe Warehouse
Edit// Yeah... didn't actually end up going out anywhere today, not in this outfit anyway. Just wore it around the house while doing some house work :)
I quite like this dress. It shows off all of the right curves tehe. Fits real well but not too tight that I can't move! It's also a real nice summery design! I absoultely love it!
Dress: Valleygirl; Cardigan: Jay Jays; Shoes: No.1 Shoe Warehouse
I have also noted in my closet, there are about 20 dresses and so you could say that I have 20 days of this month covered! But some of the dresses are too formal and such. So will have to pull out the accessories, like my recently acquired three belts!
Dressember! A fun new challenge I found via one of my friends, Louella who had liked it. Dressember is similar to another challenge I did, the 30 for 30 Remix from Kendi Everyday but with Dressember, instead of only choosing 30 items for the whole month, it's just wearing a dress everyday for December and it's for a cause as well! Head over to Dressember and find out the specifics of it! :) First photo for yesterday and will prob post today's one later tonight... or tomorrow.
Mystery Shopping. A 21st and window shopping. I can't believe I get paid to go into a shop and enquire about a faux trip. :P I love it. Something I don't love is the tax I have to pay next tax year! D:
Anyways, the outfit for today~ something simple. I also felt very under dressed. I thought the 21st/birthday celebration was just going to be a group of friends, didn't think it would be other people there as well. But, it wasn't overly casual :)
Top: Valleygirl
Skirt: Forever New
Cardigan: Jay Jays
Shoes: No.1 ShoeWarehouse
The top and shoes are possibly still available for purchase at the stores. Might even be discounted! ;) And, what do you think of the top tucked?
And, here's a song that I'm loving atm and that I picked a lyric from for this entry =)
Top: Cotton On Skirt: Pagani Tights: $3 Japan and somewhere else, Farmers maybe? Jacket: Valleygirl Shoes: No. 1 Shoe Warehouse Bag: San Michelle
Today, I had a job interview and of course to set any outfit to have that 'semi-formal' look would be a fitted blazer. I didn't intentionally make it all shades of purple! >_< I just wanted to add some difference and got changed a few times!
What do you think? Does the skirt work? I scored it at Pagani Outlet Store out in West Auckland for $15! Score! The Pagani Outlet Store pretty has all the sale items in one place and at times cheaper! I love Pagani <3 I love that they have size six!!!
Anyways. Hopefully, tomorrow will post some (or all, most probably) my recent purchases! =] I'm also thinking of changing the name of the blog. Again. Cos I quite like how the Gleegirlspulloffheadbands (when they did Halo/Walkin' on Sunshine. Loved the headbands too and the bright costumes!!). I am absolutely in love with headbands and really do believe they finish an outfit! And I pretty much dedicated a whole pargraph to Glee! Lol. >.<
Dress: Jay Jays; Jacket: Valleygirl; Shoes: Garage (The Warehouse)
Decided to wear the dresses I put in my 30 for 30 stash of clothes. After all there was a picnic to attend to today~ =) I was also going to wear my boots but... I don't know if the weather allowed for it, as in it could have been quite hot and maybe not appropriate for kneeling down for picnic-type stuff...
Nice floral-y top and simple black skirt. Another thing I need to do is top mix it up with the shoes... I do admit they are VERY versastile! And also just very simple to add to dress up an outfit, like for a job interview or to just finish a simple casual outfit!
